Internships and Production Assistant ships for feature films

This is a site for arranging internships and Production Assistantships for feature films.

Undergraduate and gradate degrees are available through the Department of Film, Theatre and Communication Arts at the University. A liberal arts degree program for future producers, actors, directors, editors, storytellers, production designers, cinematographers, message designers and historians of theatre and film.

Feature Film Interns must be full-time University juniors and seniors enrolled in the University’s film production program. Many have previous feature film internship experience.

All interns must be prepared to work twelve hours per week or 180 hours for 3 semester hours of university credit. One university credit (up to a maximum of 3) will be awarded for each 60 hours on site.

Since the shooting of the original Tarzan of the Apes in 1918 many great movies have been shot on location in New Orleans and Louisiana. A sampling includes:
